Installation Instructions for Exim4-daemon-light by Apostolos SV1LJJ

• 1) Install exim4-daemon-light (we don't need -heavy)
  • During installation do the following:
    • select “Maildir”
    • config for “local delivery only”
    • select “on file configuration” (no split)

• 2) after apt-get finishes edit /etc/exim4/exim4.conf.template

• 3) find the line “begin routers” and add directly below

#WL2K router
wl2k_router:
  driver = accept
  senders = *@winlink.org
  transport = wl2k_trans

• 4) find the line “begin transport” and add directly below

#WL2K transport
wl2k_trans:
  driver = pipe
  command = /usr/local/libexec/mail.wl2k 
  message_prefix = 
  message_suffix = 

• 5) Save config file and exit editor

• 6) As root run:

update-exim4.conf

• 7) As root restart exim4:

/etc/init.d/exim4 restart

• 8) Install paclink-unix with --enable-postfix

• 9) Config your mail client.
